What are the university's entry requirements onto its courses?
Undergraduate
The standard entry requirements for undergraduate courses is 80 UCAS tariff points with 64 from at least two A levels or equivalent such as BTEC Extended Certificate or Extended Diploma. You can find standard entry requirements at www.beds.ac.uk/howtoapply/ukugentryreqs.
Some of our courses ask for higher tariff points or that applicants have a specific subject and it is therefore important that you check the requirements for each course you are interested in applying for, via the course information page on our website : www.beds.ac.uk/howtoapply/courses.
We may also ask for a minimum level of attainment in an applicant's GCSE performance. In some instances we will accept Key Skills Level 2 or above in lieu of the GCSE but this does vary from course to course so it is important to check the individual requirements for the course you are interested in applying for.
Foundation Degree
Foundation Degree Foundation degrees typically require between 48 and 64 UCAS points for entry.
Postgraduate
Our standard entry requirements for a Masters course are a Bachelors degree with a lower second class division or equivalent.
Please note these entry requirements are for guidance only and may not reflect the offer that an applicant is required to achieve.
